The Texas Rangers have pairs of stadium seats from the Ballpark for sale thanks to their off-season renovations. The team is replacing the seats in sections 17-35. The old seats are now available for $375 a pair.
There’s two different ways to get the seats. One pool of seats can be bought and picked up at the Ballpark on March 8 for $375. For non-local fans (continental U.S. only), another pool of seats are available for delivery at that price plus $150 shipping.
There are approximately 1,400 sets in each pool.
Don’t expect your purchase price to help the Rangers with any 2014 free agent pursuits. The proceeds go to the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.

1.8.13 | Grand Rapids, MI | American Seating, a leader in innovative seating solutions for 125 years, announced today that its Us® Chair has been named a 2012 GOOD DESIGN™ award winner in the furniture category. The award-winning product — designed in partnership with noted industrial designer Jeff Weber of Studio Weber + Associates and renowned colorist Laura Guido-Clark of Laura Guido-Clark Design — was selected among numerous other furniture products from manufacturers around the world. Established in 1950, GOOD DESIGN is one of the world’s most prestigious global awards for new product designs and graphics.
“American Seating and all of its employees are extremely honored to have the Us Chair selected for this prestigious award,” said American Seating Director of Product Development Doug Oswald. “Good design has been a hallmark of this company since its founding 126 years ago and this award validates that. We are excited to continue our mission of designing user-centered solutions and meaningful products for the customers and markets we serve.”
Introduced to the marketplace in June 2012, the Us Chair has already received several industry accolades for its simplistic design, rigorous engineering and high performance. The chair is part of a collection comprised of five freestanding and three fixed-based models. According to Weber, the product’s design and color transcends people, place and time, thus creating a universal seating (“us”) solution for any commercial interior environment.
This is the second time an American Seating product has been named a GOOD DESIGN award winner. The company received the honor for its Vision® transportation seating in 2009.
